Sailing school

Courseulles’ sailing school offers many different activities in an extraordinary environment, recent and highperformance equipment and qualified instructors.

Inaugurated in 1997, and in the shape of an overturned boat on the sand, the sailing school has several large rooms. 1 club room, 2 training rooms, 4 cloakrooms with showers, 1 workshop , 1 storage space for the sailing school equipment, 1 storage space for materiel of club members with cloakrooms, showers and personal compartments, 1 boat park able to accomodate 60 boats.		  Ecole

You can also pass your sea driving licence.

 


Its water spots :

 

  • The area to the west of the port is available for sailing at both high and low tide.
  • The river Seulles, located behind the sailing school, contains a water reserve on which « optimist » workshops and windsurfing school can be practised. It is also where the young sailors’club holds their treasure hunts and other events organised by the sailing istructors.

Rentals
The beach point gives you the opportunity to sail for 1, 2 or even 3 hours with excellent material. From June to September by reservation During July-August every day: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
A beach boy welcomes you to prepare your equipment, and gives you advice and security demonstration.
If you are the owner of a sailing boat with a centreboard or a catamaran, in the months of July-August, an employee of the sailing school will assist you with putting your boat into the water at no charge.
